16 Reasons I Love My Carpet Repair Company

1. 1. 1. My business helps people that would otherwise have to replace their carpet, I make people happy!!!
      2. Niche business, so very few people know how to do this. More importantly very few people know how to repair carpets properly allowing me to be considered and industry expert in a very short period of time.
      3. No workplace politics!!! Oh how I love not having work place politics!
      4. I earn more income than most executives, ask me
      5. Low overhead, I run my business out of my home which means I don’t drive to work before I start work and more of the earned income flows directly into my bank account
      6. I only work Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00, only I decide to work on Saturdays and mostly I don’t work on the weekends
      7. I have made a point to take two months of holidays a year!

Almost everyone is my preferred customer, homeowners that want to maintain their home, renters that want their damage deposit returned, homeowners selling their home, homeowners buying their home, contractors who don’t know how to fix carpets, maid and carpet cleaning companies that get blamed for damage, carpet retailers call me to fix screwups their installers make and won’t return to fix, or can’t return because the homeowners don’t want them in their homes again
      9. I’d like to say I’m my own boss and schedule time off when I need it, and how many jobs I do in a day. More honest would be to say I get a new boss (and a new friend) every time the phone rings because I’m turning a disaster in their mind into a beautiful carpet again
      10. Stretching carpet is relatively easy to do properly, it takes a little more time than the people running around with a knee kicker and making carpet only look flat, but when I guarantee my work I am recognized as more of an expert doing the work well
      11. Carpet insert repairs are straight forward when you follow the rules of carpet and take your time
      12. Cats and dogs are our best friends, wanting in or out of a room that the owner is not in agreement with
      13. Realtors love me because I can turn the ugly carpet into something that is much easier to sell
      14. I choose the service vehicle I drive, and when you see what I drive you’ll know what I mean
      15. Business write offs, vehicle, clothing, fuel, meals and part of the home expenses – all legal
      16. Pandemic Proof!  When so many businesses suffered or went bust our business was up 33-35% over previous same month previous years.  To be fair in our market area most service business were busier because (guess) everyone was stuck at home and saw places to fix up their homes
